Support My Friend!
Kristina Kruzan is a doula and student midwife from Bremerton Washington since 2002. She has always dreamed of going to Africa to learn more about the challenges that women and families face, having to do more with so much less. She is raising $5000 to visit the Shanti Uganda Maternity & Learning Centre in Kasana, Uganda, where she will co-teach a 2-day doula training to the resident midwives, take workshops from the staff at Shanti, and if she's lucky, attend a birth or two. She's excited about this unique opportunity to experience a true exchange of knowledge, wisdom and experience with the women from Shanti.
